Short & Sweet 3.3.14

So I had this really lovely email written and now I'm on my iPad and
it's gone. I'll send it next week. It was pretty good.

This week was pretty fun. We had a lot of interesting adventures. One
day we went over to a sister house, ate cupcakes, and did some
scrapbooking. It was really fun! She has the neatest accent and the
funniest stories. She can really make us laugh. We love her a lot.

On Wednesday we had a BIG miracle. A less active sister that we have
been working with came to our gospel topics class that we hold once a
month. We hadn't seen her in 3 weeks and she called the other sisters
and told her that she was coming. Low and behold she came! SHE LOVED
IT.  Such a miracle. God is real my friends, and He really watches out
for us.

Sunday was probably the funnest day ever. We went to Sully's birthday
party. Sully's mom is Tabatha and she is the coolest mom I've ever
met. They had the funnest party and we've been over to their house for
Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving, and someone else's birthday. This one
topped them all. But I guess you only turn 10 once, right?? Tabatha
has been going around telling everyone that he is 9 because he
promised her that he would go back in age since she doesn't want him
to grow up. What a kid. I totally want to be him when I grow up. He is
the coolest cat I know.

Sunday we also went to some ward members house for dinner. They are a
hoot and a half. My favorite part when was the Brother reenacted a cat
video he saw online about a fat cat trying to jump onto a window sill.
It was FANTASTIC. Plus they are Filipino so the food was divine.

We had a good week and this week looks super promising! Hope you have
a great week!

Love,

Sister Perkes

we played the game where you bounce the ping pong balls out of the kleenex box that is tied to your rump. This is the older age group. It was much more entertaining that the young ones.

This is Sully. He is the coolest kid I know. It was his birthday party. He actually had a gummy bear stuck up his nose at this point. It was yucky and mildly terrifying.
